On October 28, 2024, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, in collaboration with the CSI Student Chapter, organized “TechFusion 2k24,” a National-Level Technical Symposium. The function started with a prayer song, The event commenced with a warm invocation followed by a welcome address from Dr.V. Vivek, Associate Professor of CSE, who provided an overview of the symposium’s agenda. Dr.J. Hemalatha, Professor and Head of CSE, delivered an inspiring inaugural address.
The symposium’s Chief Guest, Mr.S. Krishnan, a Software Developer from Zoho, Chennai, was introduced by Student Coordinator Ms.D. Vishwapriya who deliver the Chief Guest Address. Dr.J. Hemalatha , Professor and Head of CSE and Dr.V. Vivek, AP/CSE, honored the Chief Guest with a memento as a token of appreciation. In his keynote address, Mr.S. Krishnan outlined essential skills for IT career success and encouraged attendees to continuously refine their professional abilities.
With over 250 enthusiastic participants from engineering and arts colleges across the region, the symposium featured an array of technical events such as Paper Fest, UX Factor, Brainly Bowl, Memetastic Avenue, and Fix it Up designed to enhance students’ technical prowess. Non-technical events like Pix Link, Final Conflict, Pressure Pause, IPL Auction, and Acoustic Fiesta added diversity to the day’s activities, fostering both creativity and teamwork among participants.
The programme was seamlessly organised by Dr.P. Karvannan, Secretary; Dr.P. Ganesan, Correspondent; Dr.K. Vignesh Kumar, Joint Secretary; Dr.M. Sekar, Principal; Dr.J. Hemalatha, HoD of CSE; along with co-organizers Dr.V. Vivek, ASP/CSE, and Mrs.S. Rajeswari, AP/CSE, alongside the CSE faculty team. During the valedictory ceremony, Dr.J. Hemalatha presented awards and certificates to winners, and Mrs. S. Rajeswari, AP/CSE Staff Co-ordinator of “TechFusion-2k24”, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. The program concluded with a rendition of the national anthem, marking the end of a truly memorable event.
