Today “Goethe Institute“ has conducted the German Language Examination for our AAA College of Engineering and Technology students in our college Campus. The First Batch of 30 students has appeared for the Certificate Exam. The Course was started from July and duration was 7 months. Two Examiners Mr. D. Ilango from Trichy and Mrs. M. Sujatha from Madurai were deputed to conduct the examinations by Goethe Institute, Chennai.

Graduation Day Instructions
INSTRUCTIONS TO GRADUANDS
Graduands receiving their Degrees in person on the graduation day convocation to be held at Oxford Block Kamarajar auditorium are asked to adhere to the following instructions meticulously.
- Graduands and guests are instructed to maintain silence throughout the graduation day proceedings.
- Graduands will be warmly welcomed at Oxford Block. Graduands are instructed to register at their respective department registration desk located in Oxford Block.
- Graduands will be requested to pay Graduation day fee of Rs. 1000/- (if already paid kindly ignore) + Rs. 300/- in which Rs 250/- will be refunded after returning the Gown.
- Graduands are advised to attend the Graduation day ceremony with proper dress code. Boys: Tucked in Shirt & Pant, Shoes. Girls: Saree/Chudidhar.
- Graduands are asked to occupy their respective seats (According to your Register Number) allocated for them in the first floor of Oxford block, Kamarajar auditorium with gowns. Late entrants are not permitted.
- Separate seating arrangements are done for Graduands, Parents, Faculty and VIPS.
- No Spot Registration. Only Registered Graduands will be allowed to enter into the auditorium.
- For parents seating in the hall will be provided on First Come First Serve basis.
- Separate entry gates are provided for Graduands and their parents. (Gate 1 – VIP, Gate 2 – Graduands, Gate 3 – Parents and other Guests).
- Gate will be closed at 9.45 A.M.
- Children below 12 years will not be allowed inside the auditorium.
- Graduands are requested to stand up when the academic procession enters the auditorium, and remain standing till the members of the academic procession take their seats on the dais.
- Graduands will be guided by a faculty while receiving the degree certificate from the Chief guest. Graduands should return back to their respective seat after receiving their degree.
- Degrees will be awarded only to the Graduands. In case of someone is not able to attend the program in person, Certificate can be collected from student section.
- Professional photographer has been arranged by the institution for taking photographs during the ceremony. Only the official photographer is allowed to take photographs.
- When the pledge is read by the Principal, the graduands should stand and raise their right hand and repeat the pledge along with the Principal.
- When the graduation ceremony is over, all graduands (along with other invitees) should stand up in their places and remain so when the National Anthem is played and until the academic procession leaves the auditorium.
- Lunch will be provided for graduands and their guests in the boys hostel mess. Vegetarian food will be served at day-scholar dining hall and Non-Vegetarian food will be served at boys hostel dining hall.
- Hostel entry is allowed for persons only with Lunch token.
- Graduands can collect lunch token at the time of Registration.
- Graduands can collect their refundable deposit on return of their gown at their respective registration venue in Oxford Block after the completion of Graduation Day.
- Photos can be collected after the Graduation day Ceremony at their respective registration venue in Oxford Block.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering organizes One Day National Level Workshop on Graphics Designing and Multimedia on 01/03/2019.
Graphic Design is the art of profession of visual communication that combines images, words and ideas to convey information to an audience especially to produce a specific effect. In other words Graphic Design is a communication Design – way of conveying ideas through visuals and design.
Multimedia is the second aspect of the graphic design industry. It allows the student to create the interactive visuals essential in today’s digital advertising. This workshop prepares an individual to make a career in graphics, web designing, print and publishing. It trains students in understanding how images, words, symbols and letters can used as effective means of communication and portray the right message to the right audience at the right time.
This prepares students to work with solid design concepts and take their ideas into full production using computers equipped with the industry current graphic design capabilities.
