Strength of materials laboratory will demonstrate the basic principles in the area of strength, mechanics of materials and structural analysis to the students through a series of experiments. Hence it is useful in understanding the courses like Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials. Measuring the properties of the materials such as impact strength, tensile strength, compressive strength, hardness, and ductility is conducted in this laboratory. Great strides in the world of mechanics have been achieved only through keen experimental observations.
