Parent Teacher Meeting on 20-05-2026

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organised a Parent–Teacher Meeting for Final Year students on 20th June 2026 at Sir C. V. Raman Hall, Cambridge Block, with the active participation of parents, faculty members and students. The programme began with an audio-visual presentation highlighting the department’s achievements, milestones, academic progress and placement activities. This was followed by an address by the Head of the Department Dr. M. Karuppasamy, M.Tech., Ph.D., who emphasised the importance of academic excellence, discipline, punctuality, continuous learning, skill development and effective preparation for upcoming examinations. He also encouraged students to actively participate in training programmes, certification courses, and placement initiatives while appreciating those who had brought recognition to the department through industry ambassador roles. The session further highlighted the vital role of parents in supporting students’ academic and career development, with feedback collected to strengthen parent–department collaboration. The event concluded with individual interactions between parents and faculty members to review students’ academic performance, attendance, and overall progress, reinforcing a shared commitment to academic excellence, placement readiness, and the holistic development of every student.
