The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Association with IETE Student Forum organized a Guest Lecture on “Basic and Commercial aspects of Solar PV System” on 21.11.2022. The students from II year Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering participated in the programme. S. Porkaviya of IV year EEE welcomed the gathering and M. Rashmika of IV year EEE introduced the resource person to the audience. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar Professor and Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering honored resource person with memento.

The resource person for the Guest Lecture was Mr. N. Ragupathi Muthu, M.Tech Solar Consultant, Sree Minniyal Ragu Enterprises, Sivakasi. He shared the knowledge about Solar Thermal Technology, Application of PV module, Different type of solar cell and off and on grid inverters. This programme served as the eye opening session for the students. At the end of the session he cleared the queries of students and received feedback from the students. M. Mohamed Nazeeb of II year EEE delivered the vote of thanks. Totally 93 students attended the Programme.
