Department of ECE in association with IETE students chapter organized one Academic Guest Lecture through physical mode with the Resource Person Dr.S.Bama Associate Professor /ECE, Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka 562157 , in the topic – “Visualizing the Future:CNNs,RNNs ,GANs and Transformers in Deep Learning ” on 26-10-2023 Thursday @ 2.30 to 4.00PM. Venue: Thomas Alwa Edison Seminar Hall – Cambridge block First floor. Dr.T.Senthil HOD /ECE welcomed the gathering. Ms.Praveena S Third year ECE student introduced the Chief Guest .The Resource person Dr.S.Bama in her lecture briefed about the evolution of the neural networks for Artificial Intelligence computation. She explained the principle and blocks in realizing CNNs ,RNNs and GANs in deep learning. The resource person also quoted the freeware tools for learning artificial intelligence and MOOC courses for understanding deep learning as well as machine learning. The students from the final year and third year students Janani AM, Ramkumar A,Ponpriya Dharshini P , Oviyaa R , Shruthi Saba S , Arun Kumar T and Sivabalan R also interacted with the resource person in the lecture topics and carrying mini/major projects using deep learning techniques .
