Ministry of Education’s innovation Cell – AICTE organized the “Innovative Bharat” Institution’s Innovation Council – REGIONAL MEET TIRUNELVELI was held in Francis xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli on 24-01-2024.
The IIC regional meet-up at Francis Xavier College of Engineering and Technology, held on January 24, 2024, was a pivotal event aimed at fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation within the regional ecosystem. With the primary objective of promoting a culture of innovation among students, faculty, and industry professionals, the program provided a dynamic platform for attendees to network, share ideas, and develop essential skills. The event attracted a robust turnout, with students from various institutions and faculty members actively participating in various activities. From our college Dr. G. Vairamuthu, IIC president, Mr. M. Siva Sankar, EDC Coordinator, and Mr. R. Muthu Eshwaran, Start-up Coordinator, attended the meeting with two student project teams of five students. The stalls have been provided there for the project display. Our students presented their projects and demonstrated their ideas to the viewers and industrial experts.
Throughout the day, we were engaged in enlightening discussions, attended workshops, and listened to insightful presentations from distinguished speakers. The program’s diverse agenda encompassed topics such as emerging technologies, entrepreneurship opportunities, and intellectual property rights, catering to the varied interests and needs of the audience. One of the key highlights of the meet-up was the opportunity for startups to showcase their innovative solutions, facilitating valuable connections between entrepreneurs and potential investors. The event not only provided a platform for knowledge exchange but also catalyzed inspiration and collaboration. Attendees benefited immensely from the networking opportunities, forging new connections and exploring potential collaborations that could drive future innovation initiatives. Finally, from the project exhibitions, the best projects and ideas were selected and prizes were given.
