The NSS unit of AAACET successfully conducted an impactful Drug Awareness Program on March 12th, 2025, demonstrating its commitment to fostering a healthy and informed community. The program aimed to educate students and faculty about the severe consequences of drug use and promote a collective effort towards building a drug-free society. The event commenced with an enlightening speech delivered by NSS Volunteer Mr.M.Nambi Krishnan. His address focused on the multifaceted ill effects of drug usage, providing a comprehensive overview of the physical, mental, and social negative effects it causes. NSS Volunteer Mr.R.Arun Karthick introduced the innovative “Drug Free TN” mobile application. This segment of the program shed light on the technological resources available to combat drug abuse. He elaborated on the app’s key features, emphasizing its pivotal role in the ongoing fight against drug usage. This program was coordinated by the NSS unit coordinator, Mr.S.Balamurugan.
