The NSS unit and the Youth Red Cross club of AAACET, in collaboration with the Government Medical College, Virudhunagar, successfully organized a blood donation camp on March 14th, 2025. This vital initiative aimed to contribute to the local blood supply and promote the spirit of community service among students and faculty. The camp was inaugurated by esteemed Chief Guest, Mr.B.Srinivasan, Health Educator from the District Health Office, Virudhunagar. The medical team from the Government Medical College, Virudhunagar, led by Dr.G.Dharma Saranya, MBBS, MD, Blood Bank In-charge, provided invaluable support and dedication throughout the camp. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from students and faculty, who generously donated blood. Their selfless contributions resulted in the collection of 39 units of life-saving blood, a significant achievement that will directly benefit patients in need. The organizers express their heartfelt gratitude to all the donors for their participation and their commitment to saving lives.
