Institution Innovation Cell organized National Energy Conservation Day Celebration on 14.12.2024. The student of the first year Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated in the programme. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar Professor and Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering were the resource person of the programme. The guest lecture was aimed to bring out a clear cut idea about the Energy Conservation Ideas in modern energy systems and the challenges faced by industries in accessing reliable electricity. He shared the knowledge about the Energy Conservation Ideas, Challenges and different components used in Energy Conservation Techniques. He shared the case studies and the successful examples of Energy Conservation techniques adopting in industrial areas. The resource person emphasized the importance of Energy Conservative solutions for the industrial areas. The lecture also addressed the challenges faced in implementing Energy Conservation tools in industrial areas. This programme served as an eye opening session for the students. At the end of the session, he cleared the queries of the students and received feedback from the students. Totally 50 students attended the programme.
