In celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day and in alignment with the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga initiative under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the NSS Unit of AAACET organized a vibrant and patriotic campaign on 13th August 2025. The event aimed to deepen students’ emotional connection with the national flag and foster a sense of civic pride and unity. Physical Director Mr.M.Veerukkannan led an insightful session explaining the correct procedure for hoisting the national flag. He emphasized the symbolic significance of the Tiranga, its representation of India’s unity in diversity, and the citizen’s right and responsibility to hoist the flag respectfully. A creative selfie point, designed to reflect the Har Ghar Tiranga theme, was set up to encourage student participation. Volunteers actively motivated students to capture selfies with the Tiranga, promoting the campaign’s message through social media and peer engagement. The program was coordinated by Physical Director Mr. M. Veerukkannan and NSS Coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan.
