The Association Inauguration Ceremony of Tech Nexus was held with grandeur and enthusiasm on 13th August 2025 at Sir C.V. Raman Hall, located on the third floor of the Cambridge Block. The event was graced with the divine blessings of Shri. P. Panjurajan, Founder of the Group of AAA Institutions, whose vision and guidance have always been a source of inspiration for the student community.
The ceremony commenced promptly at 10:45 a.m., with the soulful rendition of the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, setting a tone of pride and reverence for our culture. The dignified ambiance of the hall, coupled with the vibrant participation of students and faculty members, reflected the spirit of unity and innovation that Tech Nexus stands for.
Next, the proceedings gracefully moved forward with a warm and engaging welcome address delivered by Ms. Vasuki, a vibrant and enthusiastic third-year B. TECH IT student. With her eloquent words and cheerful demeanor, she extended a heartfelt greeting to the dignitaries, faculty members, and fellow students. Her speech beautifully set the tone for the rest of the event, blending warmth, respect, and excitement, and making every guest feel truly valued and honored to be part of this special occasion.
As a gesture of respect and honor, our esteemed Head of the Department gracefully felicitated the chief guests by adorning. The inauguration ceremony commenced with a moment of tradition and reverence as the brass lamp was lit by our distinguished chief guests Mr. N.R. Suresh Babu, Creative Director at Zoho Corporation, and Mr. Manavalan Muthusamy, Lead Applications Developer at UPS – along with the Heads of Departments and the Association President, Mr. M. Aravindhan. The warm golden glow of the lamp illuminated the stage, symbolizing the victory of knowledge over ignorance and the beginning of a new chapter for Tech Nexus. This solemn yet vibrant ritual infused the hall with positivity, hope, and inspiration, perfectly setting the tone for the day’s celebrations.
The stage then witnessed a graceful introduction of the chief guest, eloquently delivered by Ms.K.S. Rekha, a poised and confident third year B. Tech IT student. With clarity and charm, she highlighted the remarkable achievements, professional journey, and inspiring contributions of the guest, painting a vivid picture of his expertise and dedication. Her well-crafted words not only informed the audience but also built an eager anticipation to hear from the distinguished personality himself.
The much-awaited moment arrived when the dignitaries proudly unveiled the official logo of Tech Nexus, marking a new identity and vision for the association. The vibrant emblem, symbolizing innovation, unity, and progress, was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. Following this, our esteemed Head of the Department personally felicitated each association member by presenting them with badges, accompanied by heartfelt words of congratulations. This gesture not only recognized their dedication but also instilled a sense of pride and responsibility, motivating them to carry forward the legacy of excellence.
Mr. Manavalan Muthusamy then took the stage, sharing an inspiring account of his professional journey and experiences in his field. He spoke passionately about the essential skills to acquire in 2025, emphasizing the importance of domains such as Data Science and Full Stack Development. To uplift the spirits of the students, he shared motivating words — “Believe in yourself, be positive, don’t dwell on the past, focus only on the future.” He further stressed the need to master the fundamentals of every skill, as a strong foundation paves the way for lasting success. Adding a cinematic touch, he quoted the powerful dialogue, “Powerful people make their places powerful,” igniting enthusiasm and determination among the young minds seated in the auditorium.
Mr. N. R. Suresh babu started his address with an insightful session on the world of design, covering the nuances of 2D and 3D graphics, logo creation, and website development. He showcased an exemplary website that had significantly transformed lifestyles, illustrating the impact of good design on society. Sharing a fascinating fact, he revealed that Wipro had once invested ₹25 crores solely in crafting their iconic logo a testament to the value of branding.
He went on to explain the importance of visual elements such as icons and logos in communicating ideas effectively. Highlighting the ethos of Zoho Corporation, he emphasized that the company prioritizes skills over formal qualifications, backing his statement with inspiring real-life examples — including the story of a polio-affected individual who, through hard work at Zoho, achieved remarkable success and eventually settled in the United States. His words left the audience deeply motivated, opening their eyes to the endless opportunities available to those who nurture their talent.
Finally, the Tech Nexus Association Inauguration ceremony drew to a dignified close with the soulful rendition of the National Anthem. The entire gathering stood in unison. singing with pride and reverence, filling the hall with a spirit of unity and patriotism. The peaceful and orderly conclusion reflected the success of the event, leaving behind an atmosphere of satisfaction, inspiration, and renewed commitment among all present.
