The Department of Civil Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, in association with the Civil Engineering Students Association (CESA) and the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), Madurai Centre, organized the Association Inauguration and a Guest Lecture on “Recent Trends in Civil Engineering” on 24.07.2026 at Sir Isaac Newton Hall, Cambridge Block, AAACET.
The chief guest shared his valuable knowledge on  emerging technologies, sustainable construction practices, quality in construction, and the future scope of Civil Engineering. He encouraged the students to strengthen their technical knowledge, improve their practical skills, and stay updated with the latest industry developments to build successful careers. He emphasized the advantages of associating with a Professional chapter. The programme concluded successfully with interaction and positive feedback from the participants.
