| Description about the Programme | On September 24, 2026, the NSS Unit commemorated NSS Day by organizing a series of youth-centric initiatives focused on digital empowerment, national development, and physical wellness. The program aimed to promote community service, civic awareness, and active citizenship among student volunteers. NSS Volunteer Mr.R.Santha Kumar guided first-year students through the onboarding process on the MY Bharat Portal. He encouraged participants to complete their registration and actively participate in the Viksit Bharat Quiz on the platform to benefit from national youth schemes, experiential learning opportunities, and volunteering drives. Physical Education Staff members guided the students on the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle, encouraging them to incorporate daily fitness activities into their routine. Following the session, students, physical education staff, and faculty members collectively took the Fit India Pledge, committing to prioritize personal health and promote a culture of fitness.
