WORKSHOP ON VLSI DESIGN USING VHDL PROGRAMING LANGUAGE AND XILINX TOOLS

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AAA college of Engineering & Technology, Sivakasi organized a one day workshop on “VLSI DESIGN USING VHDL PROGRAMING LANGUAGE AND XILINX TOOLS” on 27th September 2018. Assistant professors Mr.P.Sivakumar and Mrs.N.Thenmozhi coordinated the workshop. More than thirty five students were participated in the workshop and enriched their knowledge and skill in VLSI design. Ms. R.Gayathri, from third year ECE welcomed the dignitaries. In his presidential address, Dr.M.Sekar, Principal explained the importance of workshop and congratulated the students for enrolling in the workshop. Dr.S.Sevugarajan, Head of the department gave the introductory speech about the schedule and features of the Program. Dr.M.Sekar, Principal honored the Resource persons Mr.S.MohanBabu and P.Ramakrishna from M.Kumaraswamy Engineering College, Karur. During Chief Guest address Professor S.MohanBabu, advised the students should learn new things every day.  Dr.M.Sekar, Principal and Dr.S.Sevugarajan, Head of the department inaugurated the Association, launched an association logo. Student president Mr.S.Ponguru received the first copy of the association logo. Afternoon section hands-on Training on VHDL programming was conducted by resource person sat computer research laboratory. The function ended with vote of thanks by Mr.M.Joseph Andrew from third year ECE, who expressed his gratitude towards all the dignitaries, participants and all other helping hands, which contributed towards the success of the event.
