Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a guest lecture on “Awareness of Design Field for Mechanical Engineering with Demo” on 28.01.2020 at 03.10 PM to 04.40 PM with the motto of making aware the students about Emerging Trends in Mechanical Industry. Second year and third year students are made to attend the guest lecture. R.Giriharan, third year Mech delivered the welcome address about the guest. Er. Manikandan, Deputy General Manager, Hari Cad, Tirunelveli. was the resource person and the resource person was introduced by Dr. P. Seeni kannan, Professor and Head of the department and the guest lecture was organized by Mr. M. Kaliraj, Asst. Professor, Dept. of MECH.

The resource person delivered the guest lecture for all the second and third year students of the department of mechanical engineering. In this guest lecture, he told about the importance and scope of the software like CAD,Creo and Catia V5 especially autocad software person requirements in industry  . nowadays This CAD software is trending to make the design easily, and reverse engineering concept was conveyed to the students. From this guest lectures all the students got the clear idea about the scope of design carrier opportunities in mechanical industries. A very good feedback was given by the students over the guest lecture and suggested to arrange more programs, like this in the future.
