The 9th Graduation Day of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 26 July 2026 at the college campus.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. P. Karvannan, Secretary & Chairman Dr. P. Correspondent, and Mr. Abishek Pandian, Trustee, who presided over the function. Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, AAACET, chaired the event. The Chief Guest, Dr. M. Kanthababu, Director, Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai, conferred the degrees upon the graduating students and delivered the graduation address.
The programme commenced with the welcome address delivered by Dr. S.Krishnapriya, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. This was followed by the presentation of the Graduation Day Report by the Principal, Dr. M. Sekar. In his report, he highlighted the institution’s commitment to providing quality education, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, research infrastructure, industry collaborations, placement training initiatives, and the remarkable campus placement achievements of the students.
In his presidential address, Dr. P. Ganesan, Correspondent stated that Graduation Day is not only a milestone for the students but also a day of recognition for the dedication, sacrifices, and encouragement of their parents. He further emphasized that AAACET continues to motivate students by providing scholarships, incentives, and merit awards to support their academic excellence.
During his Special address, Dr. M. Kanthababu remarked that Graduation Day marks not merely the completion of academic education but also the beginning of a new journey filled with opportunities and achievements. He urged the graduates to remain grateful to their parents and teachers throughout their lives. He also advised them to associate with positive-minded individuals and ignore negativity. Furthermore, he encouraged the students to continuously enhance their knowledge in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Machine Learning, and Electric Vehicles (EVs). He stressed the importance of research, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking in building a distinctive professional identity and achieving success in their careers. As part of the celebration, faculty members of the college who had completed their Doctoral Degrees (Ph.D.) during the previous year were honoured with certificates of appreciation. In addition, Ms. S. Selvapriya, a graduate of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, was felicitated with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Memento for securing State level First Rank in the Anna University Ranking List, bringing laurels to the institution. Subsequently, around 200 students from various departments of the 2021-2025 batch received their degree certificates from the Chief Guest, Dr. Kanthababu. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Professor & Head of the Department of EEE.
