The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized a workshop on “AR & VR Technologies for Engineering Education and Research” for third-year AI & DS students, conducted by Mr. J. Visweswaran from ASK Innovations, Bengaluru, on 04-07-2026 (Saturday). The workshop introduced students to the fundamentals, applications, and development of AR and VR technologies through technical sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. It also highlighted industry trends, career opportunities, and the role of immersive technologies in engineering, research, and innovation. Overall, the session provided valuable practical exposure and encouraged students to explore AR and VR in future academic and professional projects.
