Inaugural function of Association of Mechanical Engineers was conducted on 21st August 2023 Monday at Thomas Alva Edison seminar hall Cambridge block. The function started with a prayer song. Dr.P.Seenikannan., Dean & Head of Mechanical Engineering Department welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Sekar, Principal gave the felicitation address and insisted the importance of importance of automobile safety system. In this ceremony, a Workshop on “ADVANCEMENT IN AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY” was delivered by Mr. B. KOVARASAN, Master Trainer, Trione CADD, Chennai. The resource person delivered the most important safety feature in the vehicle, that means Airbags are one of the most essential features in a car and a staple of motorist safety. These inflatable cushions are designed to protect passengers in the event of a collision by deploying quickly and providing a barrier between the passenger’s head and the hard surfaces of the car.
