The Women Empowerment Cell and Department of Science and Humanities, in association with Singappen Special Force, Government of Tamil Nadu, organised the awareness programme on 10th September 2026 at Kamarajar Auditorium.

Police officers shared valuable insights on women’s safety, self-confidence, awareness, and self-defence.

The session created awareness about personal safety and responding confidently to challenging situations.The program was conducted under the esteemed guidance of the Principal, Dr. M. Sekar, with the valuable support of Dr. N. Thenmoezhi, AP (SG)/ECE. The event was coordinated by Dr. A. Shanmugapriya, AP/S&H,  Mrs. S. Gajalakshmi AP/S&H and Dr. J. Esther AP/S&H.
