The Department of Training and Placement in association with IQAC at AAA College of Engineering and Technology proudly organized an insightful and career-oriented session titled “Building Future Cloud Leaders: AWS Student Builder & Campus Leadership Journey.” This program was conducted with the objective of empowering students with emerging cloud computing skills and leadership qualities essential for the modern tech-driven world.

The session was held on 18th April 2026 at 1:30 PM in the prestigious Kamaraj Auditorium Block. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from all III year students across various departments. The event served as a valuable platform for students to explore opportunities in cloud technology and understand the significance of leadership roles in shaping their careers.

The keynote speaker for the session was Mr. Maheswarakumar Muthusamy, MBA, Senior Consultant at HCL Tech, Madurai, and an active member of the AWS Community Builders. With his vast industry experience and deep knowledge in cloud technologies, he delivered an engaging and informative talk that captivated the audience.

Mr. Maheswarakumar highlighted the growing demand for cloud computing professionals and emphasized the importance of platforms like AWS in transforming the IT industry. He introduced students to the AWS Student Builder Program, explaining how it helps learners gain hands-on experience, earn certifications, and build real-world projects. He also guided students on how to effectively utilize AWS resources to enhance their technical skills and improve employability.

A key focus of the session was the Campus Leadership Journey, where the speaker encouraged students to take initiative, participate in technical communities, and develop leadership capabilities. He shared practical insights on how students can become campus leaders, organize events, and contribute to peer learning environments. The program was further strengthened by the guidance of the academic leadership, including Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, Dr. J. V. Saravanalal, Placement Director, Dr. S.
