Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AAA college of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi organized a CSIR Sponsored two days national level seminar on “Deep Learning for Medical Image Analysis – Challenges and Future” from 29 April 2019 to 30 April 2019. Assistant professors Mr.P.Elamparithi and Mr.R.Prabhu coordinated the Seminar. 42 faculties and 8 Research Scholars from various engineering college were participated in the seminar and enriched their knowledge and skill in Deep Learning techniques. Dr.J.Sutha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the dignitaries. In his presidential address, Dr.M.Sekar, Principal explained the importance of seminar and congratulated the faculties and research scholars for enrolling in the seminar. Ms.M.Jeyanthi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer science and Engineering addressed the Chief guests. Dr.M.Sekar, Principal honoured the Resource persons Professor and DEAN Dr.T.V.Geetha, College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, Dr.R.Devi Priya, Associate Professor, Department of Information Technology, Kongu College of Engineering, Erode and Mr.T.Senthilkumar, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. Introduction about Deep Learning, Deep Learning Techniques, Convolution Neural Network, and research issues in Medical field, Hands on training on Keras, TensorFlow and Anaconda was conducted by resource persons. Certificate was distributed for all the participants by Dr.M.Sekar, Principal AAACET during valedictory section. The function ended with vote of thanks by Mr.P.Elamparithi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, who expressed his gratitude towards college management, all the dignitaries, participants and all other helping hands, which contributed towards the success of the event.
