Eco and Nature Club of AAA College of Engineering and Technology (AAACET) Sivakasi, organized a Tree Plantation Event at our campus on 28.08.2024 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at AAACET Campus. This event was particularly special as it was held in celebration of the birthday of Mr. Suriyamoorthy, a final year student of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department. Mr. Suriyamoorthy generously donated the tree saplings for this occasion. The primary objective of the event was to enhance the green cover of our campus and promote environmental sustainability. The participation of both faculty and students added to the significance of the event, making it a grand and memorable occasion. The event commenced with a brief introduction by Dr. M. Sekar M.E.,Ph.D., (S.Korea), FIE, Principal & Eco and Nature Club coordinator Mr. E. Kalidoss who highlighted the importance of tree plantation and Mr. Suriyamoorthy’s contribution. Faculty members and students actively engaged in planting saplings around the college grounds. Each participant was given the opportunity to plant a tree, symbolizing their commitment to environmental conservation. Mr. Suriyamoorthy was honoured for his generous donation and his commitment to the cause of sustainability. A small ceremony was held where he was presented with a token of appreciation from the Eco and Nature Club.
