| Description about the Programme | As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga initiative under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the NSS Unit of AAACET celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 13th August 2026 with a vibrant patriotic drive. The campaign aimed to strengthen students’ civic responsibility and connection to the national flag. Physical Director Mr.M.Veerukkannan led an insightful session explaining the correct procedure for hoisting the national flag. He emphasized the symbolic significance of the Tiranga, its representation of India’s unity in diversity, and the citizen’s right and responsibility to hoist the flag respectfully. A creative selfie point, designed to reflect the Har Ghar Tiranga theme, was set up to encourage student participation. Volunteers actively motivated students to capture selfies with the Tiranga, promoting the campaign’s message through social media and peer engagement. The program was coordinated by Physical Director Mr.M.Veerukkannan and NSS Coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan. |
