One day Workshop on “M2M Communication using Raspberry pi & e Yantra Robotics” on 21-03-2024 by the ECE DepartmentThe Department of Electronics Communication, AAA College of Engineering and Technology Sivakasi organized one day Workshop on “M2M Communication using Raspberry pi & e Yantra Robotics” on 21-03-2024 as a part of National Level Technical Symposium VALIANT 2K24. 14 students from two engineering colleges registered and participated in the one day workshop. In the Inaugural address Dr.T.Senthil Professor & HOD/ECE briefed about the importance of attending this kind of skill development programmes to go beyond the conventional borders and enhancing employability skills to become industry ready work force.

In the Forenoon session of workshop, students are introduced with the world of IoT and gained knowledge through theory sessions and Hands-on training Sessions on the Raspberry Pi 3, which runs on Linux and interface hardware using python. The students learned to work with Raspberry Pi platform and work with DHT sensors to detect humidity and temperature and Devices control using Android phone through Bluetooth module .Dr.P.Saravana Kumar AP/ECE acted as the resource person for this session. In the Afternoon session of workshop, students are introduces with the world of e Yantra Robotics. Design and Development of Autonomous Robot using ATMEGA 16 and ATMEGA 2560 is introduced. Students learned about the interfacing Master –Slave Robot using in builds sensor system. Hands on training on Design and Development of Multipurpose Robots also covered Mrs. K.Padmapriya AP/ECE acted as the resource person for this session. The students interacted highly with resource persons in the workshop and in the feedback session, all the participation appreciated the mode of conduct of this kind of workshop. Dr.T.Senthil HOD/ECE distributed the certificates to the participants in the valedictory function.
