The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the IETE Student Chapter, organized a MATLAB training programme titled “Unlocking MATLAB: The Engineer’s First Step into Computing”on 06.08.2026 at the Thomas Alva Edison Seminar Hall under the guidance of Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, and Dr. B. Padmanaban, Professor & Head, ECE. The session was handled by Dr. B. Padmanaban, Professor & Head/ECE, and Mr. P. Vigneshwaran, AP/ECE, and coordinated by Dr. G. Jayahari Prabhu, ASP/ECE, and Mrs. P. Ganeshwari, AP/ECE. The programme provided students with an introduction to the MATLAB environment, programming fundamentals, numerical computing, data visualization, simulation techniques, and engineering applications, thereby strengthening their computational and problem-solving skills.
