The Department of Civil Engineering at AAA College organized a five-day certificate course titled “Mastering 3D Building Design with Revit” from January 29, 2025, to February 1, 2025, and on February 3, 2025, for third-year Civil Engineering students.

The course, conducted by Mr. M. Siva Sankar, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering, introduced students to the fundamentals of Revit Architecture and its role in Building Information Modelling (BIM). It covered essential topics such as basic modeling tools, floors, ceilings, roofs, stairs, ramps, railings, structural elements, annotations, detailing, views, sheets, and rendering. The course emphasized hands-on training, allowing students to enhance their skills in 3D building modeling through practical sessions, real-time projects, and interactive demonstrations. A total of 29 students actively participated, gaining valuable experience in using Revit for architectural modeling. By the end of the course, students had developed a strong foundation in Revit, equipping them with essential skills for their academic projects and future careers in civil engineering.
