On May 31, 2025, the NSS unit of AAACET successfully conducted an insightful World No Tobacco Day Awareness Program to emphasize the importance of a tobacco-free life. The event featured distinguished guests, including Dr.T.Akash, Medical Officer at Amathur Primary Health Centre; Mr.M.Vinayagamoorthy, Block Health Supervisor; and Mr.G.Vinayagamoorthy, Health Inspector, who delivered impactful messages encouraging students to become advocates for a healthier society. Dr.T.Akash urged students to refrain from all forms of tobacco and actively spread this message among their peers, families, and communities, inspiring the attendees to recognize their role in fostering a healthier environment. The session culminated in a powerful pledge, where students committed to leading a tobacco-free life, reinforcing their dedication to a positive and health-conscious future. Through this event, AAACET’s NSS unit effectively spread awareness about the detrimental effects of tobacco, empowering young minds to advocate for change. The program was coordinated by NSS Coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan.
