The NSS Volunteers of AAACET, in collaboration with Sivakasi Pasumai Mandram and the Corporation of Sivakasi, united for a dedicated Plastic Cleaning Drive at Chinnakulam Bund, Sivakasi, as part of the national Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The event was held on 26th September 2025, marking a significant step toward environmental responsibility and civic engagement. The day began with a pledge ceremony, where volunteers vowed to protect nature, reduce plastic usage, and promote sustainable living. This collective commitment set the tone for a day filled with purposeful action, environmental stewardship, and community outreach. From bund to bank, the volunteers worked tirelessly—removing plastic waste, restoring the ecological beauty of the water body, and raising awareness among the local residents about the impact of plastic pollution. This initiative reflected AAACET’s ongoing commitment to nurturing eco-conscious citizens and fostering sustainable development through active participation and collaboration.
