Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at AAACET, under the TENSAI Technical Association, conducted a comprehensive workshop titled “Introduction to Cloud Computing and Nginx” on 19-01-2026 featuring Mr. M. Dev Anandh, an alumnus, currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Archi Technologies. The session, which spanned from foundational cloud concepts to advanced industry practices, explored the transformative impact of scalable service models like IaaS and PaaS, highlighting essential features such as auto-scaling and high availability. Mr. Anandh introduced Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a primary platform, specifically detailing core services like EC2, S3, and VPC, while also emphasizing the critical role of GitHub in version control and DevOps collaboration. The day transitioned from theoretical insights to a rigorous hands-on laboratory session where students utilized PuTTY to install and configure Nginx on Linux, ultimately learning to host repositories and manage server deployments. By bridging the gap between academic theory and real-time IT infrastructure, the workshop equipped students with the practical skills necessary to navigate modern cloud environments and integrated development.
