The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), AAA College of Engineering and Technology, in association with CRYPTNOVA, successfully organized the Association Valedictory and Inauguration on 04th July 2026 at 10:00 A.M. in Thomas Alva Edison Hall, Cambridge Block. The event marked the official launch of the department association for the academic year with the objective of encouraging students to actively participate in technical, professional, and co-curricular activities.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms.Rithsia, III Year, Department of CSE (Cyber Security), She welcomed the Chief Guest, management members, Head of the Department, faculty members, and students.
This was followed by a felicitation address by Dr. P. Elamparithi, Associate Professor and Head, Department of CSE (Cyber Security). In his address he highlighted the objectives of CRYPTNOVA in promoting technical excellence and professional development. He encouraged students to actively participate in the association’s activities and make the best use of the opportunities provided for learning and innovation.
The introduction of the Chief Guest was given by Mr. Balapragadhish, III year, who briefed the audience on the professional background, industry experience, and technical expertise of the resource person.
This was followed by the inauguration of CRYPTNOVA, the Cyber Security Association. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Dharrun Kannan, Quarksek Technology Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, who inaugurated the association and addressed the gathering. In his inspiring speech, delivered an insightful guest lecture on “Recent Trends in Cyber Security with Artificial Intelligence.” He highlighted the growing role of AI in threat detection, malware analysis, incident response, and cyber defense, while encouraging students to develop industry-relevant skills and stay updated with emerging technologies in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
As part of the Association Valedictory, the Chief Guest distributed prizes and certificates to the winners and participants of various association events conducted throughout the academic year. Special recognition was also given to students who excelled in the GATE examination and those who successfully completed NPTEL certification courses with outstanding performance. The Chief Guest congratulated the achievers for their dedication and encouraged all students to actively participate in technical events, competitive examinations, and online certification programmes to enhance their academic and professional growth.
The programme was conducted in the presence of the Principal, Head of the Department, faculty members, and students. During the event, the vision, mission, and objectives of CRYPTNOVA were introduced, highlighting the association’s role in organizing workshops, seminars, competitions, industrial interactions, and skill development programmes throughout the academic year. Students enthusiastically participated in the inauguration and expressed their interest in becoming active members of the association.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, proposed by Ms. Yoga Prabha, III Year expressing gratitude to the management, chief guest, faculty members, coordinators, and students for their valuable support.
The session was organized and coordinated by Mrs. R. Madhu Keerthana, AP/CSE (Cyber Security) and Mrs. S. Saranya, AP/CSE (Cyber Security). The programme concluded successfully with positive feedback from participants.
