            Data Science  has evolved from a specialized computer application to a central component of a modern computing environment and as a result knowledge about  has become an essential part of computer science. A data Science is computer application software that provides a way to manage data. The requirement of modern days is to have an automated system that manages, modifies and updates data accurately. This is achieved by a Data science in robust, correct and non redundant way. Data Science and data analytics laboratory aims at practicing and achieving this aim by using various software’s such as VirtualBox, NetBeans, etc. The laboratory is supported by Data centre and all computers in this laboratory are connected to the Data centre via LAN.

            The laboratory is well equipped with 33 Thin Client systems, and an internet facility in an Air-Conditioned Environment with 5 KVA power backup facilities. The primary objective of data science is to identify patterns in data. It analyses the data and derives insights using a variety of statistical techniques. A data scientist must carefully examine the data after data extraction, wrangling, and pre-processing.
