As part of our continuous efforts to enhance technical knowledge and industry exposure to the students, a team of 11 faculty members from the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an industrial visit to Lovely Offset Printers Private Limited, Sivakasi, on 5th February 2025. The objective of this visit was to gain insights into the advanced printing technologies, power management strategies, and automation techniques used in the printing industry. Upon our arrival at Lovely Offset Printers, we were warmly received by the industry representatives. The visit began with an introductory session by the company’s technical head, who provided an overview of the company’s history, production capacity, and market presence.

Throughout the visit, we had interactive discussions with the engineers and technical staff, who provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of electrical and electronic engineering applications in the printing industry.

Outcome of the visit

·         The integration of automation and electrical control systems in modern printing machines.

·         Power management and energy efficiency techniques used in the printing industry.

·         Safety measures and quality control standards followed in the manufacturing process.
