CODE OF CONDUCT
MANDATORY DISCLOSURE
ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE
RAGGING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSIDE THE COLLEGE CAMPUS
As per the UGC/AICTE regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions (2009), the establishment of an Anti-Ragging Cell is carried out in our institution to uphold a ragging-free culture on campus.
The committee’s primary objectives include raising awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging, maintaining constant vigilance to prevent its occurrence, and taking immediate and strict action against any reported incidents. Students can approach any member of the committee in person or call them to report any action of ragging inside / outside the campus. The committee is aided by the college anti-ragging squad which constantly keep its vigilance.
In line with the Supreme Court’s directives, ragging is defined as any intentional act by a student or group of students that includes indiscipline, teasing, rude behaviour, or any action that disrupts academic activities. It also includes actions causing annoyance, hardship, psychological harm, or fear; financial extortion or forceful spending; physical abuse or harm; verbal abuse or public insult through spoken words, emails, or messages; infringement of human dignity; wrongful confinement; molestation; criminal acts; and conspiracy or unlawful assembly aimed at ragging.
Students found guilty of ragging, whether on or off-campus, will face strict disciplinary action which may lead to cancellation of admission.

SC/ST COMMITTEE
The institute has established an SC/ST Cell in accordance with the guidelines of AICTE and UGC, with the aim of addressing and resolving issues related to SC/ST officers, employees, and students on campus.
The primary objective of the SC/ST Cell is to support and empower students from the SC/ST communities, helping them integrate with the mainstream student body. The committee interacts with SC/ST students and faculty members to understand their concerns and provide necessary support.
The Cell actively works to raise awareness about various government and non-government scholarship schemes available for SC/ST students. Additionally, it provides counseling services to help students in their personal development.

Internal Compliance Committee
As mandated by AICTE, the institute has constituted an Internal Compliance Committee (ICC) headed by a lady faculty member. The ICC is responsible for sensitizing female faculty and students on the prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace. It closely works with women empowerment cell and conducts various awareness programs to students and faculty members periodically.
