The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of AAACET organized a Health Awareness Program on the theme “Empowering Women’s Health with Natural Remedies.” on today (04-07-2026) at Sir Visvesvaraya seminar hall from 11am to 12.30pm.The objective of the program was to create awareness among participants about the importance of women’s health and to promote the adoption of natural remedies, healthy dietary practices, and holistic wellness approaches.

The program was graced by Dr. S. Baby Malathi, M.D. (Siddha, Varma), from Sudha Saseendran Siddha Medical College Hospital, Kaliakkavilai. During the session, the resource person delivered an informative lecture highlighting the role of Siddha medicine, natural remedies, balanced nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices in enhancing physical health and mental well-being. The session also emphasized preventive healthcare and the importance of maintaining overall wellness through traditional medicinal approaches.

The program was convened by Dr. N. Thenmoezhi, AP (SG), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The event was coordinated by Mrs. D. Ramya, AP, Department of Computer Science and Engineering , and Mrs. T. Sowmya, AP, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, whose efforts contributed to the successful organization and execution of the program.
