The Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) jointly organized a Two-Day Faculty Orientation Programme on Experiential Learning with MATLAB Simulink on 10th and 11th June 2026 at the Thomas Alva Edison Seminar Hall, Cambridge Block.
The programme was facilitated by Mr. V. Karthikeyan, M.E., (Ph.D.), Technical Lead, ARK Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. During his sessions, he highlighted the significance of implementing a campus-wide MATLAB license to enhance teaching, learning, and research activities. He also provided valuable insights into MATLAB Online Courses, certification opportunities, and the effective utilization of various MATLAB toolboxes.
As part of the hands-on training sessions, the resource person guided participants through the practical applications of several Simulink toolboxes, enabling them to gain experiential learning through real-time simulations and model-based design approaches. The participants actively engaged in laboratory exercises using the MATLAB Online Platform and explored advanced features relevant to engineering education and research.
A total of 25 faculty members participated in the programme and benefited from the interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises conducted throughout the two days.
