The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology successfully organized the National Level Technical Symposium “VALIANT 2020” on 31.01.2020 in the college campus.
Dr. S. Arumuga Perumal, Associate Professor & Head, Department of CSE, S.T. Hindu College, Nagarcoil was the chief Guest of the day for the event “VALIANT 2020”. The event took place in the presence of Principal, Heads of various Department, faculty members and students.
The event started by lighting the kuthuvilaku by the dignitaries. Mr.M.Marees kumar, (Fourth year ECE) the student president, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering extended a warm greeting to the delightful gathering.
Principal Dr. M.Sekar while delivering the presidential address shared the importance of IOT and explains the steps taken by AAACET to build IOT lab for training the students felicitated for the successful conduction of symposium. Miss. S.Sabari Shri, Third year ECE introduced the Chief Guest of the day to the gathering.
Dr. S. Arumuga Perumal, delivered the Inaugural address to the gathering of 150 participants from the various college students and our college students. He discussed the importance of Hardworking for being an engineer. He also created awareness amongst the students and participants about the available opportunities in industry and suggested skills to improve the employability. He also discussed about latest technology such as IOT, Block chain technology, Green cloud computing, Green search engine, Arduino, raspberry pi.
The function was followed by various events like paper presentation, Technical quiz, Circuit debugging and other non-technical events. Around 50 papers in the latest technical areas were received from students of various colleges.
Dr.M.Sekar, Principal, AAA college of Engineering and Technology and Dr.S.Sevugarajan, Professor and Head, AAA college of Engineering and Technology distributed the prizes to the winners and participants of various events conducted. The programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Miss.G.Kalavani of Fourth year ECE.
Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan, Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan, Joint Secretary Dr.P.Vignesh kumar, Principal Dr.M.Sekar, Dr.S.Sevugarajan HOD/ECE have extended their support and guidance in organizing the program.
