Overview:

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at AAA College of Engineering and Technology (AAACET) conducted a Five-Day Training Program on “Full Stack Programme in Java” from 21st to 25th July 2025. This training program was designed exclusively for II Year CSE students to provide them with in-depth knowledge and practical skills on both front-end and back-end web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java. The program aimed to enable students to build complete web applications and enhance their problem-solving skills in software development.

Objectives of the Program:

  • Equip students with comprehensive knowledge of front-end and back-end web development.
  • Enable students to design, develop, and deploy dynamic web applications.
  • Strengthen problem-solving and programming skills through hands-on sessions.
  • Promote understanding of web technologies and best practices.
  • Encourage mini-project development for real-world experience.

Detailed Session Summary:

Day 1: HTML Basics – Introduction to HTML, Elements, Tags, Attributes, Basic Structure. Hands-on: Building a basic webpage.

Day 2: CSS Fundamentals – Introduction to CSS, Selectors, Properties, Box Model. Hands-on: Styling the webpage from Day 1.

Day 3: JavaScript Essentials – Variables, Functions, DOM Manipulation. Hands-on: Interactive webpage with form validation and events.

Day 4: Java Basics Part 1 – Variables, Data Types, Control Statements. Hands-on: Java programs with user inputs and loops.

Day 5: Java Basics Part 2 – OOP Concepts, File Handling. Hands-on: Mini project development (CRUD-based system).

Outcome and Conclusion:

The training program significantly improved the students’ skills in full stack web development. Participants gained hands-on experience in building complete web applications and enhanced their problem-solving abilities. The final day’s mini-projects showcased the practical knowledge acquired during the sessions. Overall, the program was highly successful and students expressed great interest and confidence in applying their skills for future projects.
