About the Event
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology successfully organized TECH FUSION 2K25, a National Level Technical Symposium, on 17th October 2025.
This grand event, conducted in association with the CSI Student Chapter, served as a platform for aspiring engineers to explore new technologies, share innovative ideas, and demonstrate their technical excellence.
The symposium aimed to bridge the world of computing by encouraging students to participate in both technical and non-technical events that fostered creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
Inaugural Session
The program commenced at 10.00 a.m. with the Tamilthai Vazhthu followed by the lighting of the lamp ceremony, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment.
Ms. G. Anupriya (III CSE) welcomed the gathering, followed by the Inaugural Address delivered by Dr. J. Hemalatha, Professor & Head (CSE – UG &PG), who highlighted the department’s consistent efforts in promoting research, innovation, and practical learning.
Dr. M. Sekar, Principal, in his Felicitation Address, appreciated the organizing team and encouraged students to actively engage in interdisciplinary learning to stay ahead in the dynamic field of computing.
Chief Guest Address
The Chief Guest of the event, Ms. V. Mirra, HR Manager – A&T Video Networks Pvt. Ltd., was introduced by Ms. M. Vishnu Bala (IV CSE).
In her inspiring address, Ms. Mirra emphasized three key aspects for every aspiring engineer:
- Passion:
She spoke about the power of passion in shaping one’s career and life goals. She urged students to discover what truly excites them and to pursue it relentlessly, as passion is the driving force behind innovation and success. - Surviving in the Competitive World:
Ms. Mirra discussed the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and effective communication to survive and thrive in today’s rapidly changing technological landscape. She stressed that resilience, teamwork, and a growth mindset are essential to stand out in the professional world.
- AI and the Future of Work:
She shared valuable insights on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming every industry and creating new opportunities. She encouraged students to upskill themselves in AI, data analytics, and automation technologies to stay relevant in the evolving job market.
Her motivational talk left the audience energized and inspired to approach their careers with confidence and curiosity. The Chief Guest was then honoured with a memento as a token of gratitude.
Technical Events
The technical session began at 11.00 a.m., featuring a wide range of competitions designed to test participants’ knowledge and creativity:
- Innovision – Paper Presentation
- Back Track – Debugging Challenge
- Prompt Royale – Prompt Engineering & AI Content Creation
- Algo Arena – Coding & Problem-Solving
- Startup Arena – Idea Pitching & Entrepreneurship Challenge
Participants from various engineering institutions showcased innovative projects, research ideas, and technical expertise in these events.
Non-Technical Events
To add excitement and engagement, several fun-filled and skill-based non-technical events were also conducted:
- IPL Auction – Strategic Thinking Challenge
- E-Sports – Gaming Competition
- PressurePause – Rapid-Fire Question Round
- Pix Link – Visual and Creative Round
These events provided a refreshing break and encouraged teamwork and creative expression among students.
Valedictory Session
The Valedictory Ceremony commenced at 4.00 p.m., where winners and participants were awarded certificates and prizes for their outstanding performance.
Mr. R. Santhosh (III CSE) proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Management, Chief Guest, Faculty Members, CSI Chapter, Participants, and Student Volunteers for making TECH FUSION 2K25 a grand success.
The event concluded with the National Anthem at 4.30 p.m.
Conclusion
TECH FUSION 2K25 was a resounding success, combining innovation, competition, and learning. The symposium not only showcased students’ technical potential but also emphasized the importance of passion, perseverance, and adaptability in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
