Tech Nexus, the student’s technical association (Department of Information Technology) from AAA College of Engineering & Technology (AAACET) successfully organized the Department Advisory Committee (DAC) Meeting on December 13, 2025, at the scheduled time from 11:00 AM to 12:30
PM, followed seamlessly by the External Academic Audit during the AN session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The department extended a hearty welcome to all the esteemed DAC members, academicians, industry experts, and internal committee members, ensuring that all sessions were conducted with punctuality and smooth coordination as planned.
The DAC meeting commenced precisely at 11:00 AM with a warm welcome address, setting a positive and professional tone for the discussions. The session began with an overview of the institution, highlighting the vision and mission of AAA College of Engineering & Technology and the legacy of the Panjurajan Amaravathy Trust, Thiruthangal, along with the achievements and contributions of the AAA group of institutions.
The presentation systematically covered institution details, student enrollment statistics, departmental profile, academic achievements, faculty profiles, and faculty accomplishments, adhering strictly to the allotted time schedule.
Further discussions focused on student participation, performance outcomes, and academic analysis, emphasizing continuous improvement in teaching– learning processes. Special attention was given to institute–industry interaction initiatives, existing collaborations, and future plans to strengthen industry partnerships, internships, and real-time project exposure. The DAC members actively interacted with the faculty and provided valuable suggestions to improve university examination results, promote subject- oriented mini projects, and encourage funded research and innovation-driven activities among students.
Following the successful conclusion of the DAC meeting at 12:30 PM, the External Academic Audit for the academic years 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 was conducted as scheduled during the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM by Dr. R. Ramalakshmi, Professor, Department of CSE, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Krishnankoil, and Dr. M. Vinothkumar, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, Anna University Regional Campus, Madurai.
The audit involved a thorough review of academic files, course delivery methods, assessment practices, laboratory records, faculty documentation, and departmental academic procedures. All documents were verified, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards was carefully assessed within the stipulated time.
Both the DAC meeting and the External Academic Audit were completed successfully with strict adherence to the planned schedule, reflecting the department’s effective planning, time management, and commitment to academic quality.
The observations and recommendations provided by the experts were submitted to the department for follow-up action and submission to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), reinforcing the department’s continuous pursuit of excellence, accountability, and holistic student development.
