The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering successfully organized a three-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “A Hands-on Journey into Electric Vehicle Mastery” from January 22 to January 24, 2025. The programme provided an in-depth exploration of the latest advancements in Electric Vehicle (EV) technology, equipping faculty members with valuable insights and practical experience. The programme focused on crucial aspects such as the importance of electric vehicles, solar-based EV systems, multi-source EV solutions, recent trends in electric mobility, and the design and simulation of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM). 

The technical sessions are handled by the eminent academician and industrialist, who emphasized the need for sustainable mobility solutions and the role of academic institutions in fostering EV research and innovation. Over the three days, faculty members engaged in technical discussions, interactive workshops, and real-time simulations, enhancing their understanding of emerging EV technologies. The event successfully concluded with a valedictory session, where certificates were distributed to the participants. The Faculty Development Programme proved to be a significant step towards strengthening the knowledge base of educators in the field of electric vehicles, ultimately contributing to academic excellence and industry readiness.
