The Department of Mechanical Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, in association with the SAE INDIA Collegiate Club of AAACET was organized a three-day Hands-on Training on Mechatronics and IoT from 09.10.2025 to 11.10.2025 at Sri Visvesvaraya Hall, AAA College of Engineering and Technology. The session was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. R. Selvabharathi (HOD/Mechanical Engineering). The resource person, Mr. M. S. Kalyana Sundaram, M.E., (Ph.D), Assistant Professor / EEE & Coordinator – Centre of IIoT, AAACET, shared his expertise in Mechatronics and IoT applications. The final-year Mechanical Engineering students actively participated in the program. On Day 1, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of Mechatronics and IoT, including architecture, sensors, actuators, and industrial applications. Day 2 focused on hands-on sessions with Arduino and NodeMCU involving sensor interfacing, actuator control, and wireless communication modules. On Day 3, students explored IoT cloud platforms such as ThingSpeak and Blynk, uploaded data to the cloud, and developed real-time dashboards and mobile control applications. The program concluded with a valedictory session, certificate distribution, and feedback. Overall, the training enhanced students’ technical skills and knowledge, resulting in the successful development of seven Mechatronics and IoT-based mini projects by the participants.The program was effectively organized by Mr. A. Vignesh Moorthy Pandian and  Mr. M. Nagendran.
