About the Event
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology successfully organized NEURAHACK 2K25, a National Level Technical Hackathon, on October 16, 2025. The event aimed to bring together passionate and innovative students from across the country to collaborate, ideate, and develop advanced technology-driven solutions for real-world challenges.
The hackathon served as a vibrant platform to promote innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork among aspiring technologists while fostering interaction with industry professionals and academic mentors.
A total of 50 teams from various colleges participated, comprising more than 100 students, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for technical innovation among young engineers.
Event Proceedings
The event commenced with registration at 8:30 A.M., followed by an assembly in the Kamarajar Auditorium. The opening ceremony began with the Tamilthai Vazhthu and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the spirit of enlightenment and innovation.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. N. Basheer Nisha Bagam (III Year CSE), who warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants. She highlighted the objective of NEURAHACK 2K25 and the significance of hackathons in fostering real-world problem-solving skills among students.
The gathering was further addressed by Dr. J. Hemalatha, Professor & Head of the Department of CSE, who emphasized creative learning, collaboration, and innovation in engineering education. Dr. M. Sekar, Principal of the institution, encouraged students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and to transform their ideas into impactful solutions.
Chief Guest and Felicitation
The event’s Chief Guest, Mr. Visakh ST, Chief Technology Officer of Simplify3X Software Pvt. Ltd., was introduced by Ms. S. Muthu Nandhini (III Year CSE), who highlighted his remarkable achievements and contributions to technology and innovation.
In his keynote address, the Chief Guest motivated participants to leverage emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Cloud Computing, while focusing on skill enhancement and continuous learning. His insights on innovation and industry expectations greatly inspired the participants.
A memento was presented to the Chief Guest as a token of appreciation for his presence and contribution.
Hackathon Highlights
The hackathon officially began at 11:00 A.M., with 50 teams comprising over 100 students enthusiastically engaging in innovative project development. The participants demonstrated creativity, technical proficiency, and teamwork under the mentorship of faculty members from the Department of CSE.
Throughout the day, teams showcased prototypes reflecting a blend of practical knowledge and innovative thinking. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, collaboration, and a passion for technological advancement.
Valedictory Session and Awards
The valedictory ceremony was conducted in the afternoon, recognizing and celebrating the outstanding performances of the participating teams. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the best-performing teams by the dignitaries and event sponsors.
The First Prize winners received a cash award of ₹10,000, while the Second Prize winners were awarded a cash prize of ₹5,000, appreciating their innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. S. Dhanamalini (III Year CSE), who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, principal, faculty members, participants, sponsors, and organizing committee for their invaluable support and contribution to the success of NEURAHACK 2K25
The day concluded with the National Anthem at 5:00 P.M., marking the end of an inspiring and productive technical celebration.
