The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, organized a Ten Days Certificate Course on Core Java in collaboration with iTech Academy, Tirunelveli. The course was conducted from 26.06.2025 to 07.07.2025, exclusively for the III Year EEE students, with an aim to impart essential programming skills and industry-relevant knowledge in Java.

The training sessions were held at Thomas Alva Edison Hall, Cambridge Block, from 9:30 AM to 4:40 PM each day. This course was meticulously planned to offer in-depth knowledge on Java fundamentals, object-oriented programming, exception handling, file I/O, interfaces, and multithreading—ensuring a practical and hands-on learning experience for the students.

The resource person for the course was Mr. S. Manimaran, MCA, currently serving as the Technical Head and Senior Web Developer at Thinman Websolvers. With over 15 years of experience in software development and training, Mr. Manimaran brought a wealth of expertise in web technologies and programming. His professional journey includes significant roles at companies like i-Grandee Software Technologies, Winways Systems, and Winways Complete Open Source Pvt. Ltd. He has demonstrated excellent skills in Java, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, Python, and modern frameworks like AngularJS and ReactJS.

Mr. Manimaran’s sessions were structured, interactive, and hands-on, providing students with both theoretical understanding and practical application of Java programming. Mini-projects, live coding exercises, and assessments were included to monitor and enhance the students’ progress.

Students actively participated throughout the program and expressed great enthusiasm about the real-world relevance of the content delivered. On successful completion, participants received certificates from iTech Academy, adding valuable credentials to their academic portfolio.
