The Department of Civil Engineering organized a certificate course on ‘Layout of Buildings using AUTOCAD software’ from 29/03/2021 to 31/03/2021 in the CAD/CAM laboratory. Mr.T.Thirukumaran, Assistant Professor/Civil and Ms.C.Karpagalakshmi, Assistant Professor/Civil were the resource persons for the course. AUTOCAD is most commonly used for creating and modifying 2D & 3D model drafting with detailed information about the conceptual design and layout of buildings. Forty Nine students from I year, II year & III year B.E. Civil Engineering Department attended the course. The three days course helped the students to create 2D drawings of Geometric elements and Building Layouts.
