The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, in association with iTech Academy, jointly organized a Five Days Certificate Course on “Cloud Bridge Foundation” for the IV Year EEE students. The program was conducted from 5th January 2026 to 9th January 2026 at Thomas Alva Edison Seminar Hall, Cambridge Block, with the objective of providing fundamental knowledge and practical exposure to cloud computing technologies.
The primary aim of the program was to equip students with a strong foundation in cloud computing architecture, operating systems, networking essentials, cloud services, and cloud security concepts, thereby preparing them for entry-level cloud roles and industry-oriented skill development. The course was meticulously planned to ensure a balance between theoretical concepts and hands-on practical sessions.
The sessions were handled by Mr. Radhakrishnan, an experienced Entrepreneur and Industry Expert in Security Surveillance and Cloud Technologies, who has over 14 years of professional experience in system implementation, infrastructure management, and training. He has significantly contributed to various Tamil Nadu Government sectors, including CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems) and TNSTC Corporation, and has extensive experience in mentoring students and professionals. His industry exposure and practical approach greatly enhanced the quality and effectiveness of the training program.
The training sessions were conducted daily with structured modules covering computer fundamentals, operating systems, networking essentials, cloud computing concepts, AWS services, cloud security, and virtual private cloud (VPC) implementation. Students were introduced to core concepts such as hardware components, memory systems, operating systems, IP addressing, LAN implementation, cloud service models, Amazon EC2, AWS IAM, and VPC configuration. Each session included demonstrations, lab activities, quizzes, and assessments, ensuring active participation and continuous evaluation.
Special emphasis was given to practical learning, where students gained hands-on experience through Amazon EC2 instance creation, IAM user configuration, VPC setup, and launching web servers in a cloud environment. These sessions enabled students to understand real-world cloud deployment scenarios and security practices followed in the industry.
The program also incorporated daily quizzes and a final assessment, which helped in monitoring the progress of the participants and reinforcing their understanding of the concepts taught. The students actively participated throughout the program and displayed great enthusiasm in learning modern cloud technologies.
On successful completion of the course, all participants were awarded certificates from iTech Academy, adding value to their academic and professional portfolio. The program was well-received by the students and proved to be highly beneficial in enhancing their technical competency and industry readiness.
