Department of Computer Science and Engineering of AAA College of Engineering and Technology, sivakasi inaugurated Association of Computer Engineers and organized a Guest lecture on the topic “Artificial Intelligence” on 14.08.2018. Inauguration and Guest Lecture started with prayer song. Dr.J.Sutha Professor & Head of Computer science and Engineering Department welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Sekar principal gave the felicitation address and he noted the importance of Automation, Artificial Intelligence and stressed impact of Computer Science and Engineering students in Automation field. Selvi M. Bala Meenakshi Final year student introduced the Chief Guest Mr. R. Vaira Selvam, Solution Architect, Capgemini Technology Services, Bangalore. Chief Guest addressed the Industry and Academic Gap, Expectation of Industry from an Engineering graduates, Forecast of Artificial Intelligence in future, Employability in 2020, About Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Data Analysis & Data validation, Data Science, Machine Learning, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality and he demonstrate how to create a chat bot, how to deploy the chat bot in cloud and how to validate the chat bot.The Guest Lecture was attended by 124 Students from Second year, Third year and Final year of Computer Science and Engineering Department and 9 Faculty Members of Computer Science and Engineering Department and Principal Dr.M.Sekar. Mr.R.Prabhu, AP/CSE and Mrs.R.M.Rajeshwari, AP/CSE Association Coordinators arranged the resources for the smooth conduct of Association of Computer Engineers Inauguration and Guest Lecture. Dr.M.Sekar, Principal presented a small token of appreciation to our Chief guest Mr.R.Vaira Selvam. Selvan J. Aheesh third year student of Computer Science and Engineering delivered the vote of thanks.Finally the programme was ended with national anthem.
