The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at AAA College of Engineering and Technology organized a technical session titled “Design for Impact: Unlocked Better UI/UX” on October 10, 2025, for second-year students to enhance their understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. Led by Mr. R. K. Babin, the session started with an engaging introduction to UI/UX fundamentals, detailing the distinctions and synergistic roles of UI and UX in creating user-centred digital products, covering practical concepts like design thinking, layout planning, and colour theory using a visually rich PowerPoint presentation. In addition to the digital slides, Mr. Babin utilized the classroom board to manually illustrate design diagrams, including wireframe layouts and alignment concepts, and invited students to participate in an interactive hands-on activity of sketching their own designs, which fostered creativity and practical understanding. The event concluded with positive feedback for its clear, structured, and interactive approach that effectively combined theory with practical illustration, significantly contributing to the students’ exposure to modern design methodologies and inspiring further exploration in UI/UX development.
