The NSS unit of AAACET successfully organized a comprehensive Drug Awareness Program on January 10, 2025. The initiative aimed to educate students on the severe consequences of drug abuse and foster a commitment to a drug-free lifestyle. The event featured an impactful address by NSS Volunteer N. Basheer Nisha Begam. In her compelling speech, she meticulously highlighted the devastating impact of drug abuse, emphasizing how it erodes individual potential and hinders personal growth. Following the insightful address, the students actively participated in a pledge-taking ceremony, formally committing themselves to abstain from drug usage and promote a drug-free environment. More than 300 students formed a powerful human chain, symbolically representing their unified message to “Say No to Drugs.” This impactful formation, clearly visible in aerial shots, served as a strong visual declaration of their commitment to a drug-free environment. The program was coordinated by NSS Coordinator Mr.S.Balamurugan and Anti-Drug Club Coordinator Mr.M.Veerukkannan.
