From Code to Care: CSE Department Strengthens Parent–Teacher Synergy on 27-09-2025

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AAA College of Engineering and Technology, organized a Parents–Teachers Meeting on 27th September 2025 (Saturday) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Sir Visvesvaraya Seminar Hall, Cambridge Block.

The event was conducted with the blessings of Shri P. Panjurajan, Founder of AAA Group of Educational Institutions, and organized under the guidance of Dr. J. Hemalatha, Head of the Department (CSE), and Dr. P. Senthil Pandian, Academic Coordinator (CSE). The program was coordinated by Mrs. S. Lalitha Tharani and Mrs. T. Sowmya, Assistant Professors, Department of CSE.

The meeting provided a constructive platform for faculty members to interact with parents and discuss various aspects of students’ performance. The discussion primarily focused on academic progress, regular attendance, discipline, and participation in technical activities. Faculty members shared insights about the department’s initiatives, such as coding practice sessions, technical symposiums, workshops, and industry-oriented training programs designed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and employability skills.

Parents were briefed on the importance of continuous learning, project-based education, and hands-on exposure to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cyber security. They were also encouraged to motivate their wards to participate actively in coding contests, internships, and paper presentations organized by the department.

Additionally, faculty members discussed the placement training roadmap, academic support for slow learners, and the mentoring system adopted to monitor the overall development of each student. Parents expressed their appreciation for the department’s efforts in maintaining academic excellence, promoting innovation, and ensuring career readiness among students.

The session concluded with positive feedback from parents, who commended the department’s commitment to student development, discipline, and continuous improvement.
